國安法以外，其實最令人擔心的，是地緣政治衝突以至戰爭，有一觸即發之跡象。新冷戰下，中國面臨內外交困，「北韓化」之趨勢日益明顯 — 即對內加強控制維穩、對外以民族主義衝撞外國勢力。香港是原爆點，但台灣、東海、南海和中印邊境都是火藥庫。香港遠離戰爭已有75年之久，但潘朵拉盒子既已打開，我們必須做好各種準備。
Apart from National Security Law, the most worrying trend is geopolitical conflicts and wars are already on the horizon. In New Cold War, China is facing internal and external challenges and its “North Koreaization” is inevitable — internally stepping up stability preservation, while externally playing up nationalism and military brinkmanship against foreign forces. Hong Kong is the ground zero, with Taiwan, East China Sea, South China Sea and Sino-Indian borders being the powder keg. Hong Kong has been away from war for 75 years. But as the Pandora’s box has now been opened, we must get prepared for all possible scenarios.
